  • Advised various foreign clients (French, German and Swiss) on Foreign Direct Investment in Iran through the Ministry of Commerce in different fields such as food industries (e.g. Caviar Fish manufacturing and dairy products under the new Iranian Law of Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Act (FIPPA) 2004.
  • Advised various foreign clients on company formation and tax implications and regulations in mainland Iran and Iran Free Trade Zones (Kish Island and Qeshm Island).
  • Advised foreign and Iranian clients on regulatory and licensing requirements for importing products to Iran such as food from Europe, steel from Ukraine and raw material from Oman including dealing with Iranian Officials and Governmental authorities.
  • Advised Iranian clients on issues such as disputes with their banks for being in arrears, and for returning their business bank loans. Advised them on liquidation and bankruptcy for freezing the interest rates.
  • Advised Iranian clients on issues arising out of the current international sanctions on Iran regarding their agreements for importing goods to Iran with foreign companies.
  • Involved in advising some of the Embassies in Iran (Oman, Algeria, and Germany) regarding their legal affairs.
  • Involved in Italian-Iranian Chambers of Commerce in advising their members on company formation, drafting agreements (e.g. for registering for Tehran International Exhibition for Italian products). In doing so, involved in preparing contracts.
  • Involved in advising foreign and Iranian clients on issues such as taking business loans from Iranian banks, using foreign exchange facilities. In doing so, involved in preparing contracts and financial documents to be submitted to the banks.
  • Accompanied foreign and local clients at meetings with Official Government experts to discuss various issues such as banking, auditing, accounting, tax and tariffs to increase the clients' knowledge and ability in investment (e.g. in steel and an airline).
  • Communicating with clients both in English and Farsi (written and spoken).
